MIRA is a platform for investment and real estate development that integrates commercial, residential and office assets in Mexico. Founded in 2007 by Black Creek Group, it's a real estate company based in Denver , United States.

In 2014, Ivanhoe Cambridge acquired 50 % of MIRA. Ivanhoe Cambridge is a subsidiary of "La Caisse de Depot et Placement du Québec" and is a world leader in the real estate industry; based in Montreal, Canada, and has investments in America, Europe and Asia. Ivanhoe Cambridge has over CDN$42.000 million in assets, more than 15 million square meters of offices, shopping centers and industrial buildings; more than 23,000 residential units for rent and approximately 1,500 employees. MIRA is the first investment of the group in mixed uses in Mexico.


The Sales and Marketing Vice-president will be MIRA's representative responsible for establishing and leading the sales strategy and sales teams of all MIRA's developments, including, among others:

  • Development of overall Projects Sales Plan including annual sales program, commission strategy structure, sales cost budget, commercial objectives, etc., for each one of the projects.

  • Analyze all market segments relevant to product mix.

  • Define the target markets and product offering.

  • Define the appropriate marketing organization for the company's maturity/size.

  • Strategic planning including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.

  • Oversee marketing communications

  • Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with sales for lead tracking and management.

  • Oversee product marketing including product launch management, presentations, competitive analysis and general sales support.
    Elaborate sales staff job descriptions.

  • Participate in the definition, hiring and management of the team

  • Review sales teams' performances versus objectives and act according to the needs

  • Manage and close unusual deals of each project

  • Identify, produce and present sales and marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) to MIRA's senior management

The ideal candidate will be a professional with a strong quantitative background and a proven track record in sales and marketing in a multinational and/or institutionally managed corporation.

  • Experience in real estate development and/or construction sales management is desirable.

  • Experience working in a highly entrepreneurial setting is preferred, as is experience in managing institutional capital and related investor relations.

  • The successful candidate will be bilingual and familiar with business practices in Mexico and the United States.


At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing.
A self-directed and motivated individual requiring a minimum amount of supervision
