A Response to Vertical Growth
Neuchâtel was envisioned as a response to the rapid vertical growth of Nuevo Polanco, a district in need of more human-scale spaces to connect at ground level.
Rather than starting with buildings, MiRA prioritized public space. The project was
designed from the outside in: with open areas, green corridors, and walkable paths to support daily life and community interaction.
This placemaking-first approach reflects MiRA’s belief that well-designed cities begin with how people move, connect, and live together.

A Neighborhood That Continues to Grow
Neuchâtel brings together housing, offices, cultural space, and public areas into one connected urban plan.
In 2022, land was sold to Gran Ciudad for the development of 330 multifamily units. In 2023, Hospital Ángeles acquired adjacent land to build a new flagship medical facility, adding healthcare to the district’s mix.
As part of the project’s public realm, MiRA introduced The Eye of Mexico, Latin America’s first AI-powered sculpture, as a cultural landmark that connects technology, creativity, and urban life.
With each phase, Neuchâtel continues to grow as a complete neighborhood, shaped by thoughtful planning and a vision for balanced city living.
