Rooted in the Land
The project began with a deep connection to the land, not as an afterthought, but as the foundation for the entire concept.
The “town farm” idea was rooted in the belief that growing, preparing, and sharing food is a cultural act. At its heart is Jazamango, a farm-to-table restaurant where MiRA partnered with chef Javier Plascencia to bring regional agriculture and cuisine together in one experience.
This phase introduced residential units and gathering spaces that complemented the restaurant, blending food, lifestyle, and land in a way that reflected the local rhythm of Todos Santos.

Coastal Expression
The coastal portion of the project was anchored by Hotel San Cristóbal, designed in collaboration with Lake|Flato and Liz Lambert. The hotel blended seamlessly into its landscape, with indoor-outdoor spaces, a library, seaside mirador, and curated amenities that celebrated Baja’s laid-back elegance.
While MiRA has since exited the project, Hotel San Cristóbal remains a defining place in the region, a re flection of how thoughtful, experience-led development can elevate a destination and create lasting cultural impact.
